The Laser Module of xTool M1 Ultra Hits the Rotary Chuck
Updated Jul 18,2024
Updated Jul 18,2024

Issue description

The laser module hits the rotary attachment's chuck during automatic measurement.

Troubleshooting

#1 Adjust the position of the laser module

  • Please move the laser module to ensure that the distance probe can land on the highest point of the cylindrical material during measurement.
  • If the distance probe is not aligned with the highest point of the cylindrical material, the laser module may encounter issues during the distance measurement process while descending.

#2 Adjust the placement of the material

  • If using a chuck jaw, since the chuck's jaw will protrude above the material when clamping, the laser module may collide with the chuck during distance measurement.
  • Please rotate the rotary attachment 180° on a flat surface, and mirror the XCS processing pattern up and down.

Note: If your project allows working with the roller mode, this issue can be avoided.
