Issue description
If you notice no temperature updates or changes on your Smart Control after adjusting the temperature knob, and the heating plate on your Smart Press does not seem to be heating up, please consult this guide for troubleshooting advice.
Why does it happen
- The power button of Smart Press is not engaged.
- The 2.4G transceiver is not fully inserted into the slot on Smart Press or is plugged incorrectly.
- There is a communication glitch between the transceiver of Smart Control and Smart Press.
- The main control board of Smart Press or the transceiver of Smart Control is malfunctioning.
How to fix it
#1 Press the power button
- Ensure that the power button is pressed by checking if the indicator light is illuminated with an orange light.
- If there is an orange light, it indicates that:
Orange Light On:
- This confirms that the issue was due to the power button not being pressed.
Orange Light Off: Further identify the root cause of the issue by troubleshooting the following:
- a. Power Supply Issue:
- Verify if the power supply is normal by checking if there is a blue light on the 2.4G transceiver and the beeping sound when power is connected.
- If not, try to ensure a secure power cable connection between the power outlet and power cord.
- b. Loose Connection:
- Remove the handle cover to inspect the connection between the mainboard's button switch and the indicator light.
- Check if the connector is properly seated. - If this does not resolve the issue, proceed to the next step.
#2 Reinsert the 2.4G transceiver
- Check if the transceiver is inserted incorrectly with the blue light indicator facing downward.
- If so, reinsert the transceiver to ensure its blue light indicator faces upward.

#3 Reestablish communication connection
- Verify that the connection icon (see the image below) is present in the top right corner of Smart Control and check if the 2.4G transceiver’s indicator light is slowly blinking blue.
- If not, this speaks for the communication connection breakdown between the 2.4G transceiver and Smart Control.

- Try unplugging and then replugging the 2.4G transceiver. Next, hold down its connection button (see the image below) for 3 seconds to reestablish the communication link.
