xTool F1 Ultra Smart Fill Engravings have Inconsistent Visibilities
Updated Jun 12,2024
Updated Jun 12,2024

Issue description

The outcome of the engravings using smart fill batching processing seems to be inconsistent. Some may be darker and some lighter.

Troubleshooting

For wooden materials

This is usually due to the inconsistent texture of the materials. Please try with a batch of material that comes from the same source to avoid quality differences across the materials.

For certain metal materials

This is usually due to laser spot being coarse away from the center of the processing area and the nature of some materials. Metals that are usually hard to engrave such as copper, aluminum, etc, and the ones that are sensitive to laser such as stainless steel, are prone to this issue.
