If your blue and red laser dots still do not align on the same spot after a second calibration attempt, follow these steps to identify and address potential issues.

 

Possible causes and solutions

#1 Incorrect coordinates

  1. Check if you've entered incorrect coordinates.
  2. DO NOT Confuse X and Y Axes: The horizontal direction is the X-axis, and the vertical direction is the Y-axis.
  3. Check Signs and Quadrants: Ensure the correct positive or negative signs based on the cross's position in the coordinate system.

#2 Drive shaft coupling malfunctions

A broken-down drive shaft coupling will result in abnormal movement of the laser module.

Follow these steps to resolve it:

1. Check the drive shaft coupling screws

  • Check for any loose screws on the drive shaft coupling.
  • If any, tighten them securely and attempt the second calibration again by following the video tutorial below.

 

2. Replace the drive shaft coupling

  • If tightening the screws does not resolve the issue, this suggests a potential malfunction of the drive shaft coupling
  • Replace the drive shaft coupling before attempting the calibration again.
