Issue description
When this issue happens, you should see a pop-up error message that says "Distance sensor exceptions" with the error code "M363 S3".
Troubleshooting
This error message pops up usually because the distance sensor is not reset. In some cases, a faulty sensor or reset trigger piece could also cause this error. Please follow the steps below to troubleshoot.
#1 Reset the sensor probe
There are two ways to reset the probe. One is to manually push the probe upward until it clicks and stay. The other is to reset it in XCS. The two pictures below show the difference between a reset and released probe.
#2 Contact support for help
If you've tried the above steps and the problem persists, or If the probe keeps getting released on its own during the laser module movement after you reset it, please take a short video that shows the issue and send it to our customer support. Based on the situation, we may provide a replacement sensor or trigger piece for you, or other further assistance.
