When you need full access to the parts within the enclosure and the plates, you need to remove the enclosure. This is especially helpful when you need to troubleshoot these issues:
Due to the obstruction of the enclosure, it is quite difficult to inspect and replace the Y-axis limit sensor. Removing the enclosure would make it easier to perform these tasks. Also, since the connection port of the accessory is protected by the enclosure, you need to remove the enclosure to inspect or replace it.

After removing the baseplate, you can find these screws around the bottom of the machine. Please use the screwdriver included in the S1 package to remove them.

Note: Make sure you unplug the connection cable of the emergency stop switch shown below.
Unscrew the two knob-like round ports right to the mainboard.
Now the enclosure is free to be removed. Please gently pull the left and right sides of the enclosure at the same time while you lift it. It's easier to do this with one person on each side.
Now the enclosure is removed and the inner structure is exposed. You can access the parts to inspect or replace:
