If you purchase the xTool Screen Printer multi-color kit, you can find two frame fixing pieces, one for xTool D1 Pro and the other for xTool S1.

This page describes how to install the frame fixing piece inside xTool S1.

Fit the frame fixing piece on the baseplate

  1. Remove the two screws in the middle of the right side of the machine.

2.  Fit the frame fixing piece inside xTool S1 with the screws.

Note: If the screws you've removed in step 1 are not long enough for the fixing piece, you can use the screws delivered with it.

3.  Flip the frame and screen over so the back side faces up.

4. Fit the frame and the fixing piece together, with the tabs inserted into the notches.

5. Connect xTool S1 to xTool Creative Space (XCS) to engrave on the screen.

Note: In screen printing, the frame is placed with the front side facing up. You may need to rotate and reflect the design objects based on how you will place your material.

Fit the frame fixing piece on the riser base

If you are using the riser base, it is recommended that you install the baseplate back to the machine before installing the frame fixing piece for screen engraving. If you do not want to install the baseplate back to the machine, you can also install the frame fixing piece directly on the riser base as follows:

  1. Remove the two screws on the right side of the machine.
  1. Fit the frame fixing piece on the riser base with the screws.
Note: After you rest the frame fixing piece on the honeycomb panel, the frame fixing piece may be a little tilted, which is supposed to be and does not affect the use of it.
Find the right screw holes. Do not fully tighten the screws. Just ensure that the frame fixing piece is kept in place.'
