Step 1: Setting Up the Accessory and Software Connection
Step 2: Select Laser Cylindrical Mode
Processing Mode in XCS software and choose Laser Cylindrical.Chunk Mode: Ideal for Spheres and Tumblers
Chunk mode is your go-to option for objects like spheres, tumblers, and cups. This mode requires you to measure the diameter or perimeter of the object manually. Remember to use a measuring tape or pliers to accurately measure the diameter or perimeter of your object.
The software is equipped to auto-calculate the counterpart measurement (diameter or perimeter) based on your input.
When dealing with an object with varied diameters, measure the side that will be fixed onto the jaws.
For objects like goblets that have multiple diameters, focus on measuring the target processing area.
To switch measurement units, head to General Settings in the top-left corner of the software.
Auto-Measuring Distance:
Roller Mode: Simplify Standard Cylinders
For standard cylinders with a uniform width, opt for Roller mode. This user-friendly mode eliminates the need for manual data entry. Simply click 'Measure Distance' and let the software do the rest.
Once you've completed the above steps, you're all set to design your project, set the parameters as needed, and proceed with processing.
