The Printing's Edge of xTool Screen Printer is Fuzzy
Updated Dec 6,2023
Updated Dec 6,2023

Why It Happens

The halo effect around the edges of the printed pattern typically occurs during continuous printing. It may be attributed to the following reasons:

  • Ink Residue on the Back of the Mesh: During continuous printing, ink may inadvertently seep into the back of the mesh. If printing proceeds when the ink has already leaked to the back, this may result in a halo effect around the edges of the pattern.
  • Excessively High Fluidity: The halo effect is also common when patterns are printed in ink with excessively high fluidity.

How to Fix It

#1 Clean Before Print

Before printing, make sure that there is no residual ink on the back of the screen.

If there is, wipe it clean with a wet cloth.

#2 Use Compatible Inks

It is advisable to opt for an ink with appropriate fluidity.

xTool official shop provies tested and recommended inks for purchase.
