The machine fires the laser but doesn't leave a mark on the material.
In some cases, the laser can engrave parts of the design but leaves the rest blank.
Make sure the blue and red laser dots are overlapped before processing.
This means the laser is focused at the right focal length. See this guide for details.
If the power is not enough, or the speed is too high, it may not engrave well.
If you use the IR laser to engrave, you want to make sure it can work on the material.
IR laser works better on stainless steel, aluminum, gold, silver, iron, platinum, etc., and plastics.
Blue Laser works better on wood, acrylic, leather, slate, glass, ceramic, etc.
If your design is a bitmap image, the laser won't engrave on a white background.
We hope this guide is helpful. And we'd love to hear what you think.
