Rotary Attachment

 

Issue Description

If you use the rotary attachment, and the engraved image looks cut or shifted, please refer to this article for troubleshooting.

#1 Check the Image Format

Processing vector images may involve many back-and-forth cylindrical movements, causing the object to slide if the friction is not strong enough.

 
Here are some ways to make the processing more stable.
  1. Try with a chuck instead of the roller.
  2. Transfer the vector image into a bitmap image.
  3. Put rubber bands on both ends of the material.
  4. Lower the processing speed.

 

#2 Check the Roller Set Screw

  1. Check If the set screw of the roller is not tightened enough.
  2. Fasten the screw shown in the photo below and see if the result improves.

#3 Check the Jaw Chuck

  1. Check if all the screws on the chuck are fastened properly. Check if the drive belt is loose.
  2. Refer to the videos below to adjust the screws and the belt tightness.

 

#4 Check the Rotary Motor

  1. Disconnect the rotary attachment.
  2. Roll the roller or the chuck by hand.
  3. See if there is any obstacle in the movement.
