About This Guide

There are two working modes of the air assist set for xTool S1: auto and manual mode.

This guide will show you how to connect the air assist set to xTool S1 in both modes.

Connect in Auto Mode

Connect the air assist set to the accessory pot of xTool S1.
Connect the air tube to the air inlet of the machine.
Turn the knob to AUTO to enable the auto mode.

Make sure "Auto-adjustment for the air assist set" is enabled in XCS.
The level in XCS is set by default to 4 for cutting and 1 for engraving.

Note: the auto mode is only compatible with XCS, not Lightburn.

Connect in Manual Mode

Connect the air assist set to the accessory pot of xTool S1.
Connect the air tube to the air inlet of the machine.
Turn the knob to the level of airflow you want (from 1 to 4).
The air assist will work with the same level of airflow for both cutting and engraving.
