Product Security Support Period
For each xTool product, the table below shows the date until which — at a minimum — xTool provides security support: handling vulnerabilities and providing security updates free of charge. Published end dates are only ever extended, never shortened.

About security support
- What it covers: until at least the date shown, vulnerabilities are handled under our Coordinated Vulnerability Disclosure Policy and security updates are provided free of charge. This commitment applies to every unit of the product, wherever purchased. All dates on this page are UTC calendar dates.
- How dates are set: support periods are set per product, reflecting the length of time users can reasonably expect to use it. Dates are reviewed for as long as a product remains on sale, so later purchasers receive no less support. Published end dates are only ever extended, never shortened.
- At the time of purchase: the applicable end date is available on this page and referenced from product pages, so it can be checked before you buy.
- After the end of support: previously released firmware and software remain available in our download archive with a clear risk notice; using unsupported software may expose you to unfixed vulnerabilities. Security updates released during the support period remain available for download for at least 10 years after their release.
- Staying up to date: fixed vulnerabilities and security updates are published on our Security Advisories page.
