Midwest Woodworking Tradeshow

In our home and within our group of friends, people don't ask ""Where did you get that"", they ask, ""How did you make that?"". It started in our fully equipped woodshop making holiday decorations, things for our home and gifts for friends and family. Over time, we were asked to make things for purchase, and it has grown from there. We do traditional woodworking, as well as CNC work, Laser Cutting and Engraving. We love making things of all types, but have a passion for team sports and holiday decor. I have been a UAT tester on several software releases, and I am very comfortable with both XCS and Studio. I also have Lightburn experience, but run my machines and primarily use Studio for my laser work. I have been working with xTool Machines for about 18 months.

About This Event

The Midwest Woodworking Trade Show features product booths, demo booths, information booths, door prizes, classes, hands-on opportunities, a Show & Tell area to showcase your achievements, a woodworking contest (with opportunities to enter scroll sawing, wood turning and woodcarving), and a Friday evening dinner.

The show is dedicated to Dirk Boelman. Dirk’s passion for art and his love of woodworking combined to turn into a dedication to the art of scroll sawing. He was a talented and prolific pattern designer, a caring and enthusiastic teacher, and a strong advocate for the positive effects of the hobby on the lives of all involved in it. He was a driving force behind the Midwest Show for many years as well as a major contributor to making the hobby of scroll sawing a popular and thriving pastime. His infectious enthusiasm and encouragement gave him the ability to bring out the best in everyone he met.
