Beth Morse is a skilled laser etching artisan based on Cape Cod, where she resides with her fiancé, John, and their three beloved dogs, Abby, Marlin, and Gus. With a lifelong passion for creativity, Beth discovered her calling in laser etching in 2020, beginning with a modest CO2 laser. Despite early challenges with unreliable equipment, her determination and resourcefulness transformed her into a self-taught expert in troubleshooting and mastering laser technology. Over the years, Beth has honed her craft, transitioning from CO2 lasers to advanced fiber lasers, including the F1U, which complements her trusted P2 system. Her portfolio showcases a diverse range of custom creations, with a particular focus on crafting flags, tumblers, and home décor. Notably, she has designed numerous flags for local police departments, ranging from intricate smaller pieces to large-scale projects utilizing the P2’s conveyor system—an ambitious endeavor that marked her first major project with the machine. Beth’s approach to learning new equipment is fearless; she tackles the most complex projects first, making subsequent tasks feel effortless. A natural mentor, Beth is passionate about sharing her expertise, guiding friends and fellow artisans in mastering their own P2 lasers and exploring compatible software. Her versatility shines through in her work, from designing jigs for coasters and pens to experimenting with endless possibilities that laser technology offers. For Beth, the creative potential is limitless—if it can be imagined, it can be crafted.
