Troubleshoot Laserbox Error Code Qx09 0

    Issue Description

    Error Code 'Qx09 0': WatER-Cooling Exhaust Fan Exception

    Qx09 0 error code indicates that the water-cooling exhaust fan is abnormal. If you see a pop-up notification with this error code, please refer to the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

    #1 Check the Firmware Version

    Connect the machine to the software.
    The computer should be connected to the Internet.
    Check if the firmware is up-to-date as shown in the picture below.
    If the issue persists after updating, please move on to the next step.

    #2 Check Fan Cable

    Turn off the machine, refer to the video to take the machine apart.
    Unplug and replug the two fan cables as shown in the picture below and then restart the machine.
    If the issue persists, please move on to the next step.

    #3 Measure the Output Voltage of the Y1 Board

    Connect the machine.
    Press Ctrl+F1 on the keyboard to enter the debugging interface below.
    Command+F1 for Mac, add the Fn key if it does not work.

    Click 'Cooling Fan On' and 'Cooling Fan Off' to make the water-cooling exhaust fan start/stop working. Use a multimeter to test the output voltage of the fan connector in both cases.
    • The voltages of the 'Cooling Fan On' and 'Cooling Fan Off' are shown in the pictures below.
    • If the actual measured voltage does not match the picture below, the Y1 board or the fan is faulty.
