Troubleshoot Laserbox Error Code Qx02 0

Issue Description

Error Code 'Qx02 0': Air Pump Current too Low

The Qx02 0 error code indicates that the air pump may not get enough electricity. If you see a pop-up notification with this error code, please refer to the steps below to troubleshoot the issue.

#1 Check the Firmware Version

Connect the machine to the software.

The computer should be connected to the Internet.

Check if the firmware is up-to-date as shown in the picture below.

If the issue persists after updating, please move on to the next step.

#2 Check the Air Nozzle

Refer to the video below to clean the air nozzle thoroughly and check if the issue is solved.

If not, please move on to the next step.

#3 Check the Air Pump

Connect the machine.

Press Ctrl+F1 on the keyboard simultaneously to enter the debugging interface below.

Command+F1 for Mac, add the Fn key if it does not work.

Click 'Air Pump On' and 'Air Pump Off', and observe whether it can properly respond to instructions.

Normally, you can hear a clattering sound on the right side of the machine near the power switch with 'Air Pump On'.

The clattering sound will immediately disappear with 'Air Pump Off'.

If the air pump can be turned on but not off, the control circuit on the motherboard may be faulty.

Please replace the motherboard.

If the air pump works properly as mentioned earlier, check the air tubes. Here is how:

  Remove the right side of the machine according to this video guide.

  Check if any of the transparent or black tubes are bent or clogged.

  If yes, please rearrange the rubes and see if the issue is solved.
