Methods of Measuring Distance in Manual Focus

This article is suitable for dealing with large errors and failures in automatic focus.
 
 

Step 1: Process a Focusing Ruler

  1. Download the processing file here, unzip it, and import it into XCS.
Place a piece of 3mm basswood plywood in the P2 machine and process the file with the output index for 3mm basswood plywood (Black lines are for cutting and red lines are for engraving).
 
Assemble the processed accessories. The connection joints are shown below:

 

Step 2: Measure the Distance

  1. Open the equipment setting and move the laser module over the material.
  1. Open the lid and measure focus:
 
For the slats flat mood, attach the focusing ruler close to the laser head and get the scale on the triangular arrow on the right.
 
For the open plan mode, attach the focusing ruler close to the laser head and get the scale on the triangular arrow on the left.
  1. Move back to the home position: After clicking the home position button, close the setting interface and the lid.
