For those of you who've been exploring our xTool Creative Space Software, you'll know it's available on platforms including iPhone, Android, iPad, and both Windows & Mac desktops. But without built-in cloud storage (for now), how do you seamlessly transfer files between your devices? If you’ve found yourself pondering this, you’re in luck. Here's a handy guide to make that process as smooth as a laser engraving on oak!

Heads up! We're in the labs, working on XCS cloud storage function to achieve file transfer across all devices. We're just as excited as you are about this forthcoming addition that promises to refine your design process.

Via Email

1. Launch your preferred email client on your PC.
2. Draft a new email, attaching the desired file.
3. Address it to yourself, send, and voila!
4. Now, access your email on your mobile, open the sent email, download the attachment, and finally, import it into the XCS app.

Chat Platforms: Facebook Messenger

1. Launch Messenger on your PC.
2. Find your name (yes, chat with yourself, why not!).
3. Add your file as an attachment and send.
4. On your Android device, open Messenger, access the chat, and download away.

WiFi Transfers Using Third-Party Apps (AirDroid Example)

There are many applications available for file transfer, and we will use AirDroid as an example. AirDroid offers several practical features such as File Transfer, Remote Control, Screen Mirroring and File Management.

You can download it at AirDroid official website and add iOS or Android devices to your AirDroid Personal account as you like.

PC to Phone:

1. Launch AirDroid Personal Desktop Client.
2. Tap the File Transfer icon and select your device.
3. Drag and drop files or just use the 'send file' option.

Phone to PC:

1. Open AirDroid on your phone.
2. Select your computer from the list.
3. Hit the attachment icon > Files > pick a file > SEND.

Note: Files stored offline are only available for seven days on their servers. Remember to grab them while they're still there!

Cloud Service Transfers

1. On your PC, upload your desired file to your cloud storage (i.e., Google Drive or Dropbox).
2. On your mobile device, fire up the cloud app, locate your file, and download.

Bluetooth

1. Activate Bluetooth on both your PC and Android.
2. Pair them up following on-screen instructions.
3. On your PC, right-click the file > 'Send to' > 'Bluetooth device'. Choose your Android.
4. Phone Side: You'll get a ping. Tap 'Yes'!

Reminder: Applicable file format: XCS, SVG, DXF, PNG, JPG, and BMP.

Now, whether you're next to your machine or lounging at a cafe, transitioning between devices is no longer a challenge. Design on-the-go and ensure your ideas come to life just as you expected. 🎨
